- If you’re wondering what the FAFSA is… it stands for Free Application for Federal Student Aid. It’s a free online application you and your parents will fill out to qualify for federal financial aid (free $$), scholarships (free $$), and work study programs (jobs on college campuses). It’s used to help you pay for college or a trade school. Application submissions begin Oct. 1, 20201- March 2nd 2022.
- If you’re planning on attending Shasta College Fall 2022, YOU ARE REQUIRED to submit the FAFSA to receive TWO Years FREE tuition regardless of income!
